Video Editing

Video editing is the process of manipulating and rearranging shots to create a new work. The editing phase is the lengthiest and most challenging part of the video production process. It’s also the most rewarding. The decisions you make in the editing suite are critical because there are infinite options to choose from.

Color Grading

Color grading creates a mood and coherent sensibility with a video’s color palette. Many filmmakers use a color palette as part of their overall production design. These palettes represent artistic choices that give the film a unified look. When film footage doesn’t match these color palettes, colorists use digital color grading tools to change the video colors.

Visual Effects

Visual effects (VFX) is a term used to describe imagery created, manipulated, or enhanced for any film that doesn't take place during live-action shooting. VFX typically combines live-action footage and manipulated or enhanced imagery to create realistic environments and characters. Visual effects can also be used practically for object removal or image enhancement.

Sound Design

Sound design is music, sound effects, or both that are combined and manipulated to create a the soundtrack. For sound design to work, a sound designer must know a variety of sound techniques and when to use them. The sound design element plays a significant role in the production of a film.

Title Treatment

The best titles evoke the attitude of the film before it even begins. Title treatments can range from the simple to the spectacular, from mere type to elaborate works.

Film Finishing

Finishing is a term that refers to creating all of the versions, with the correct codes, file formats, aspect ratios, and compression.
