This documentary blends cinematic surfing sequences with fly-on-the-wall cinematography, creating an inspiring and honest branded piece. To begin our post-production process, we carefully crafted the founder’s raw interview into a storyline. His authentic delivery was made possible by asking him open-ended questions, so this story’s narrative flow was entirely constructed while editing. Building the story through audio made matching each moment with an appropriate shot easy. Each frame was chosen to contribute to the overall narrative flow.
